Network Security Engineer - Fortigate Firewalls - VOIS-Bangalore

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer with expertise in Fortigate Firewalls to deliver secure, resilient, and efficient network operations. The individual will work within an ITIL-driven environment, ensuring incident resolution, change implementation, and proactive support across customer-facing and internal infrastructures.

What you'll do

• Resolve network security incidents within critical SLAs through effective troubleshooting and root-cause identification
• Perform configuration and housekeeping activities including Layer 2/3 analysis, device upgrades, replacements, and performance optimisation
• Plan and implement internal and customer changes aligned with ITIL processes
• Raise and manage hardware vendor tickets, coordinating replacements and returns as per SLA while following escalation pathways where required
• Document technical procedures and share knowledge by coaching and mentoring team members
