Specialist, Cloud Middleware Administration

About the role

The Middleware Administrator (Kafka & RabbitMQ) is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing high-performance messaging and event-streaming platforms across cloud and on-premises environments. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, and security of critical payment data pipelines that power real-time financial transactions globally.

What you'll do

• Deploy, configure, and manage on-premises and cloud-native Kafka clusters to support scalable data streaming
• Define and implement Kafka architecture standards and best practices to ensure consistency and reliability
• Provide deep technical expertise across the Kafka ecosystem, including brokers, Zookeeper, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, KSQL, REST Proxy, and Control Center
• Ensure high performance, availability, and stability of Kafka platforms in high-volume environments
• Design and manage Kafka Connect workflows with Schema Registry to enable efficient, large-scale data integration
