About the role
This full-time role reports to the Senior Counsel of Legal and is based at Waters India Global Capability Center in Bengaluru, India. The Corporate Counsel will collaborate internationally with Legal colleagues and business stakeholders around the world, supporting all business and corporate functions across the company.
What you'll do
- Draft, negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial agreements with customers, partners, and suppliers, often with an international element, including
- Independently multi-task matters with tight deadlines while managing the expectations of internal and external stakeholders
- Support the continuous improvement of the global Legal team’s operational processes, including the drafting of standard positions, template agreements and playbooks
- Assist with potential or actual litigation and compliance risks to the company which arise from its day-to-day business operations
- Serve as an interface to the Company's business units and provide practical advice while minimizing risk to the Company
