About the role
The Staff Software Engineer will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade, scalable microservices applications supporting Logistics and Warehouse Management Systems. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on development expertise, and close collaboration with cross-functional business and technology teams, including third-party vendors such as Manhattan Associates.
What you'll do
- Provide technical leadership for the Logistics domain — designing, developing, and leading delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade microservices
- Drive hands-on development of Java and Spring Boot services, RESTful APIs, and event-driven integrations using Kafka
- Define and enforce engineering standards for secure coding, unit testing, Git branching strategy, and code quality
- Lead deployments and CI/CD automation on containerized platforms, including automated testing and release readiness
- Own application health in production — monitoring, alerting, incident triage, and root-cause resolution
