About the role
The purpose of the role is to lead various automation initiatives pertaining to strategic accounts in a BU ensuring better client engagement Location - Chennai / Pune / Mumbai / Noida / Coimbatore / Hyderabad
What you'll do
- Develop, test and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles and inventories to automate RHEL and Windows server environments
- Automate OS-level tasks such as server build and configuration, patching, user and access management, service management, hardening, health checks and housekeeping
- Use Shell, PowerShell and Python scripts to complement Ansible automation where needed
- Build idempotent, reusable and well-documented automation with proper error handling and logging
- Apply a working understanding of Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB, such as their OS prerequisites, services, ports
