The purpose of this role is to support delivery through development and deployment of tools. Job Description – Datadog APM Full-Stack Observability Architect We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Datadog Systems Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising our monitoring and analytics platform, Datadog, across both on-premises and cloud environments.
What you'll do
- Implement, configure, and maintain Datadog across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring comprehensive monitoring of applications, services, and infrastructure
- This includes leveraging integrations with SolarWinds for in-depth network performance monitoring and management
- Develop and maintain dashboards, monitors, and alerts that provide real-time insights into system performance, availability, and security
- Utilise the integrated capabilities of Datadog, create a unified view of IT health, enabling proactive issue resolution and performance optimisation
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate Datadog, SolarWinds, Thousand Eyes etc. into the CI/CD pipeline
