About the role
The Command & Control Centre Associate is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, performance, and operational excellence of Walmart's technology platforms through a combination of software engineering, observability, automation, incident management, and cross-functional coordination.
What you'll do
- Own the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC) for Command & Control Center platforms, products, automation frameworks
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, resilient, and observable software solutions that improve platform reliability, operational effectiveness
- Develop production-grade applications, services, APIs, automation platforms, bots
- Apply software design principles, design patterns, secure coding practices, and engineering standards to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and extensible solutions
- Own production deployments through CI/CD pipelines using Concord, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms while enforcing quality gates, security controls
