About the role
As a Piping Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience. Piping Design & Layout Engineering: Develop piping layouts for mining, mineral processing, and metal extraction facilities based on P&IDs, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and client specifications.
What you'll do
- Ensure the layout design optimizes space, operational efficiency, and ease of installation while meeting industry safety and environmental standards
- Prepare detailed piping design drawings, including routing, support placement, and equipment integration
- Coordinate the layout of piping systems with other engineering disciplines such as civil, mechanical, and electrical to ensure seamless integration
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to define project scope, estimate costs, and identify potential design challenges
- Review client specifications and ensure the design aligns with technical, budgetary, and scheduling requirements
