About the role
Software Test Engineer (Functional) is responsible for end-to-end functional testing of complex enterprise-level software systems in cloud environments involving multiple applications and technologies. This role analyzes requirements, develops comprehensive test scenarios, executes testing, manages defects, and collaborates across teams to support software quality.
What you'll do
- Analyze application features and requirements to identify end-to-end functional test scenarios and develop test cases
- Execute functional tests, document defects, track issues through closure, and prepare test summary reports
- Interpret business and technical diagrams, organize complex information, and use it to develop effective test strategies
- Perform API, automation, BI, and cloud-related testing, including the use of automation tools such as Selenium
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues
