About the role
The SAP MDG Functional Lead will lead functional design for Supplier and Business Partner governance, including Procurement Tool supplier-portal workflow adjustments, data-quality rules, approval processes, and integration with downstream SAP procurement processes. The role requires strong hands-on experience in SAP MDG Supplier/Business Partner, supplier master data, governance processes, workflow, data quality, and end-to-end implementation programs.
What you'll do
- Own functional design for Supplier/BP governance and change-request processes
- Define workflow stages, approvals, field controls, validations, derivations, and data-quality rules
- Assess Procurement Tool supplier-portal workflow requirements and translate them into scalable MDG process changes
- Define supplier/BP data standards, mandatory attributes, duplicate-checking, and governance controls
- Lead functional testing, UAT, defect triage, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization
