Lead Site Reliability Engineer - Platform Engineering / SRE 

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability of Zenoti's non-database tier: web applications, APIs, analytics and reporting systems running on cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure). You will set the reliability bar, lead incident and observability practices, and work closely with engineering teams on resilient design and safe delivery.

What you'll do

• Set the reliability bar, lead incident and observability practices, and work closely with engineering teams on resilient design and safe delivery
• Define SLIs/SLOs/SLAs and error budgets for application and API components and drive their adoption across engineering teams
• Lead observability for applications: APM, distributed tracing, log aggregation, metrics, dashboards and actionable alerting that reduces noise and MTTD/MTTR
• Drive capacity planning, load and performance testing, autoscaling and cost-efficiency of Azure-hosted application and analytics infrastructure
• Own reliability of the analytics stack (data pipelines, reporting and BI platforms such as Tableau) from a platform, availability and performance standpoint
