About the role
Your Resposibility as AM Commodity buyer - Iron casting : Your Profile as AM Commodity buyer - Iron casting 8–12 years of experience in Purchasing/Strategic Sourcing. Experience sourcing castings for Commercial Vehicle and Off-Highway components such as Calipers, Crankcases, Axle Housings, Differential Housings, Wheel Hubs, Transmission Housings, and Transaxles.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Iron Castings
- Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, tooling, logistics, and contracts
- Achieve annual cost reduction targets through strategic sourcing initiatives
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers.Drive supplier localization and dual-sourcing programs
- Manage supplier performance, capability development, and business continuity. Support new product development and engineering change activities
