Senior Engineer/ Specialist- IMDS Product Compliance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IMDS Specialist / Senior Engineer to support global material compliance activities within the automotive industry. The role is responsible for IMDS data management, substance compliance analysis, supplier and customer coordination, and ensuring compliance with global product regulations.

What you'll do

• Create, validate, maintain, and submit IMDS/CAMDS data for customer and regulatory requirements
• Analyze BOMs, product drawings, and material compositions to prepare Material Data Sheets (MDS)
• Coordinate IMDS activities with global customers, suppliers, engineering, and product compliance teams
• Perform substance compliance assessments against REACH, RoHS, ELV, GADSL, SCIP, PFAS, and other regulations
• Support SAP and PLM-related projects involving material and substance data
