About the role
The Software Development Engineer II is responsible for developing software applications and firmware for electronic devices and sensors used in orthopedic surgery. This role is an integral part of the design team, participating in the definition of the specifications, the software implementation, and verification / validation activities through automated and unit testing.

- Responsible for commercializing intelligent instrument solutions for clinical applications
- Lead software and firmware development activities for new product development involving the integration of MEMS sensors hardware in surgical instruments
- Implement wireless 802.15.4 or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communications drivers to ensure the integrity of the surgical device network at all times
