About the role
The Manager I, Mortgage Operations, Post Closing leads a team responsible for reviewing completed mortgage loan files, resolving post-closing defects, and ensuring that loans meet investor, secondary market, and regulatory requirements prior to sale or delivery.
What you'll do
- Lead a post-closing operations team that reviews closed loan files for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to investor, secondary-market
- Establish, monitor, and refine standard operating procedures, quality controls, and performance metrics to reduce post-closing defects and rework
- Partner with internal stakeholders (such as Closing, Underwriting, Secondary Marketing, and Compliance) to resolve documentation issues, cure deficiencies
- Analyze post-closing pipeline, exception trends, and audit findings to identify process gaps, recommend improvements
- Train, coach, and develop team members on post-closing requirements, controls, and best practices, fostering a culture of accountability, service
