The Data Science, Analytics and Engineering team supports several lines of business across the company by partnering closely with business leaders and engineering to model, analyze, and surface business relevant metrics that inform both short- and long-term decision-making. What you'll do
- Build and maintain dimensional data models and metric definitions using SQL and dbt (or equivalent) to establish metrics-as-code as an enterprise asset
- Design data-quality tests, monitoring, and alerting so your data products are trusted by default
- Partner with data engineering to define upstream requirements and fix data-quality issues at the source
- Define and evangelize semantic layer definitions that make metrics usable by BI tools, data scientists, and AI systems alike
- Own multiple data domains end to end, mentor other engineers, and resolve metric governance across teams
