About the role
Zillow's People Technology organization builds and operates the platforms that power how Zillow employees work: Workday, ServiceNow, and the agentic AI layer connecting these systems to the surfaces employees use every day - Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, and AI tools. The India engineering team owns this platform stack end to end: production access, change ownership, on-call rotation, and direct relationships with the business teams we support.
What you'll do
- Serve as the technical lead for complex integration and application work across Workday, Gem, BrightHire, ServiceNow, AD/Okta, payroll and benefits vendors
- Build complex integrations, services & applications using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and REST/SOAP/GraphQL APIs
- Act as an expert in multiple subdomains owned by your team; influence and shape team architecture, working closely with Principal and other senior Engineers
- Design and own MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and connectors that expose Workday capabilities to AI agents and internal tooling
- Establish how the team uses and adopts AI-assisted IDEs and coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
