About the role
We are looking for a hands-on Performance Test Engineer to own the performance engineering lifecycle for our applications — from workload modelling and script development through execution, analysis, and tuning recommendations. You will work closely with development, and report to QA Manager to ensure our systems are fast, scalable, and stable under real-world load.
What you'll do
- Gather non-functional requirements and translate them into performance test strategies, workload models, and SLAs (response time, throughput, concurrency, error rate)
- Design, script, and execute load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability tests using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner
- Perform API/web services performance testing (REST/SOAP) and database-level performance validation
- Analyse test results to identify bottlenecks (application, database, network, or infrastructure) and work with engineering teams to resolve them
- Prepare detailed performance test reports, dashboards, and executive summaries with clear recommendations
