About the role
The job purpose of a Shift Engineer - Diffusion in cell maintenance is to manage and optimize the diffusion process. This includes overseeing equipment operation, maintaining quality standards, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement to ensure efficient production of high-quality solar cells.
What you'll do
- Operate and maintain diffusion machines to ensure efficient and precise diffusion processes for semiconductor production
- Monitor and optimize diffusion processes to ensure consistent and high-quality production of solar cells
- Implement CAPA plans promptly for major breakdowns, ensuring quick resolution and putting preventive measures in place to minimize downtime
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications during the diffusion process
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during all maintenance and operational activities
