About the role
As the Factory Manager / Washery Head in a coal mine, the primary objective is to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the washery facility, achieving optimal performance targets, and adherence to maintenance schedules.
What you'll do
- Manage Washery, CHP & CPP, HEMM operations, ensuring adherence to production targets and quality standards
- Coordinate with the mining team to maintain the required feed rate and coal quality
- Conduct regular plant visits to monitor working conditions and address operational issues promptly
- Handle customer complaints/feedback to enhance washery operations to meet desired coal quality and sizing requirements
- Prepare and monitor manpower, revenue, and Capex budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources
