About the role
This role is responsible for managing the maintenance and operational integrity of rail track systems, including the management of resources, equipment, and materials in accordance with established plans and standards. This role also includes ensuring the timely execution of tasks to maintain track availability, contributing to budget planning, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards.
What you'll do
- Provide input for the preparation of the budget for Railway track materials and accessories
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the Rail track and its surrounding area
- Support the Team Lead in Quality Checks and review the procurement of materials and equipment
- Participate in technical training and audits for the railway siding, conduct Level 2 and Level 3 trainings for all contractors, and update records in KRONOS
- Prepare audit reports and ensure compliance with Indian railway audits by PWI and ADEN as per RDSO guidelines
