About the role
The Engineer NDT (QA Blade) is responsible for executing non-destructive testing (NDT) on blade components to detect internal defects such as delamination's, voids, and cracks. This role ensures the calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment, analyzes inspection results, supports corrective actions, and conducts re-inspections.
What you'll do
- Analyze NDT results to identify delamination's, voids, cracks, and other anomalies that could affect blade performance
- Ensure all NDT equipment, including ultrasonic probes and thermal cameras, are properly calibrated and maintained according to industry standards
- Conduct regular equipment checks to verify functionality and accuracy of measurements
- Reporting of NDT Findings
- Maintain detailed records of all NDT inspections, including test results, defect locations, and corrective action recommendations
