About the role
Along with managing the team of underwriters, to assess, evaluate and accept risk based on evidence submitted and to ensure that the same is executed within the risk acceptance parameters as defined. Achieved by continuous training and auditing of the business, branch /sales support in underwriting related matters by communications/trainings.
What you'll do

- Underwrite all cases as per limits assigned as per defined limit
- Ensure other cases are assigned to the team and are completed by within the defined TATs
- Monitor the team productivity on regular basis & take appropriate actions to improvise in case of lapses
- Ensure all branch queries are replied before we close for the day
