About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) Expert with 8–10 years of professional experience in the aviation sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in the planning, design, and implementation of AGL systems, ensuring compliance with international standards such as ICAO Annex 14, FAA, and airport authority regulations.
What you'll do
- Lead the planning, design, and specification of Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) systems, including runway, taxiway, apron, approach, stop-bar, guidance
- Develop comprehensive AGL layout plans, circuiting, Constant Current Regulator (CCR) sizing, ducting, and pit layouts
- Ensure full compliance with ICAO Annex 14, FAA, and relevant airport authority standards
- Collaborate with airside civil, electrical, ATC/ATM, and airfield signage teams to ensure seamless integration of AGL systems with pavement works, visual aids
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align AGL designs with overall airport development plans
