About the role
Model structural steelwork and reinforced-concrete arrangements accurately in accordance with the engineer's design information, project standards and client requirements. Check your own work thoroughly and, where authorised, review and guide the work of junior designers.
What you'll do
- Develop detailed structural models and drawings for materials-handling projects using AutoCAD, Autodesk Advance Steel and Revit
- Use Navisworks or equivalent federated-model tools to coordinate interfaces and resolve clashes
- Participate in design reviews and provide practical input on detailing, fabrication, erection, access and maintainability
- Contribute to standard details, modelling libraries, digital workflows and continuous improvement
