Software Development Manager, Relay Product & Tech

About the role

You'll lead an engineering team that safeguards thousands of carrier relationships across Amazon's transportation network - turning complex operational signals into high-confidence insights that protect Amazon, legitimate carriers, and drivers at scale. Leveraging advanced machine learning, computer vision, and Gen AI, your team builds intelligent systems that strengthen the integrity and safety of the carrier network.

What you'll do

• Work closely with engineering teams to design and implement intelligent detection and decisioning systems, real-time alerting
• Work closely with software developers and managers to architect and develop the best technical designs, architectures and implementations
• Develop monthly, quarterly and yearly strategy and roadmaps for the team based on project priorities and project benefit
• Work with Product and Program Managers to develop and evolve the vision and strategy for the team
• Use Agile principles to run the development lifecycle for team’s applications and services
