About the role
The Fulfillment Optimization (FO) Support team plays a crucial role in Amazon's supply chain operations. We invent and deliver software solutions that facilitate Customer Promise Speed, Order Planning, and Fulfillment. The FO Support team leverages data, process improvement, and innovative technologies — including AI and agentic automation — to provide comprehensive engineering-excellence services and solutions across FO's product portfolios.
What you'll do
- Have an enormous opportunity to work across multiple systems: researching and identifying common issues, building AI-powered tooling that diagnoses and prevents them
- Work autonomously on difficult, team- and component-level problems, build resilient and well-tested solutions
- Design, build, and operate AI-powered and agentic support capabilities — diagnostic agents, automated root-cause analysis, anomaly detection
- Automate repetitive operational tasks to increase efficiency and reduce manual toil, and build tooling that enables other engineers
- Manage trouble tickets through to resolution or escalation using existing documentation, procedures, and tools, and improve those mechanisms over time
