About the role
The Power BI and Microsoft Fabric Engineer is a hands-on technical role responsible for Power BI development, administration, platform support, performance optimization, governance, and Microsoft Fabric enablement.
What you'll do
- Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and optimize Power BI reports, semantic models, Dataflows, and Paginated Reports
- Design and support solutions using DAX, Power Query/M, data modeling, Import, DirectQuery, and Composite Models
- Analyze and resolve performance issues involving reports, visuals, DAX, semantic models, refreshes, data sources, and capacity utilization
- Use Performance Analyzer, DAX Studio, and Tabular Editor to assess and improve solution performance
- Administer and support the enterprise Power BI Service, including workspaces, apps, semantic models, dataflows, gateways, refreshes, security, and access
