About the role
As a Buyer Planner II, you will join a dynamic environment where your efforts support Configure-to-Order production demand and help keep inventory levels efficient. This role plays a key part in maintaining continuous supply by reviewing purchase recommendations and supply plans, offering an exciting and distinctive opportunity for motivated candidates.
What you'll do
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery speed within the scope of Procurement
- Negotiate cost and terms with suppliers not handled by Sourcing. Initiate RFQs where appropriate
- Build and manage purchase orders (POs) for materials, components, and services
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, resolving issues related to quality, delivery delays, or invoice exceptions
- Hold suppliers accountable by measuring supplier performance, including timely delivery rates, lead time consistency, and material quality
