About the role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Nursing Unit Manager to lead and manage nursing operations within the assigned unit. The Nursing Unit Manager will be responsible for overseeing patient care delivery, supporting physicians, guiding nursing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.
What you'll do
- Patient Care & Clinical Oversight – Ensure high-quality patient care by maintaining nursing standards, overseeing care delivery, reviewing patient care plans
- Team Leadership & Staff Management – Lead and mentor nursing staff, promote teamwork, guide clinical practices, support professional development
- Administrative & Quality Management - Manage staffing and duty roasters, take part in conferences and training programs
- Compliance & Continuous Improvement - Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accredition requirements, and internal guidelines
- Participate in audits, evaluations, and planning for future nursing and patient care needs within the unit
