About the role
Responsible for operating laser tracking and metrology equipment to perform dimensional inspection, alignment, verification and measurement of large sections, airframes and structures.
What you'll do
- Set up, calibrate and operate laser tracker systems for dimensional inspection and measurement
- Perform 3D coordinate measurements of fabricated structures, welding fixtures, and Stage vehicle Integration
- Establish and verify coordinate systems, reference points and alignment datums
- Conduct real-time measurements during assembly, fabrication and integration activities
- Perform geometric inspections including flatness, straightness, perpendicularity, concentricity and profile verification
