What you'll do
- Translate P&IDs into integrated engine CAD; define all fluid, structural and instrumentation interfaces
- Design flanged, threaded and welded interfaces: bolted-joint preload and torque-tension, cryogenic seals, weld-joint preparation and inspection access
- Model the engine and route feed, purge, pressurisation and instrumentation lines and interconnections, supports and vibration
- Create and maintain top-down CAD models of the integrated engine and sub-assemblies; run tolerance stack-ups
- Write phase-wise assembly instructions and travellers with torque sequences, inspection points, cleanliness and FOD controls
