Paint & CED Shop - Jr. Engineer (IQA) at Atul Auto. Monitor and control paint shop processes such as pre-treatment, surface preparation, primer, top coat, curing and related operations as applicable.
What you'll do
- Monitor and control paint shop processes such as pre-treatment, surface preparation, primer, top coat, curing and related operations as applicable
- Ensure defined process parameters are maintained, recorded and followed as per approved process sheets, work instructions and control plans
- Carry out routine inspection of painted parts for appearance, colour shade, gloss, adhesion, film thickness, defects and other specified characteristics
- Identify and control paint defects such as dust, sagging, runs, orange peel, pinholes, blisters, scratches, poor coverage and colour mismatch
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and other CFT members for timely resolution of process and quality issues
