About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring incoming material quality, managing supplier quality performance, driving corrective actions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the supplier base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive supplier quality, manufacturing processes, problem-solving methodologies, and quality management systems.
What you'll do
- Drive containment and corrective actions for supplier quality issues arising from production lines
- Raise and manage supplier complaints through the NCM portal and coordinate G8D corrective action activities
- Monitor Non-Conformance Management (NCM) status and provide regular updates to plant management
- Ensure timely closure of supplier concerns and prevent recurrence of quality issues
- Manage supplier rejection claims and cost recovery activities
