About the role
The Manager of Simulation Technology (CFD)is responsible for a leading global, multidisciplinary engineering team focused on the deployment of advanced CFD modeling, analysis and technology development for industrial and utility boiler and boiler combustion systems projects.
What you'll do
- Technical & Simulation Leadership
- Contribute and lead development and execution of CFD models for industrial combustion systems including low-NOx gaseous
- Lead, develop and mentor CFD and simulation engineers
- Develop and validate models involving turbulent reacting flows, species transport and/or finite rate chemistry, PDF and non-premixed combustion models
- Lead mesh strategy development, boundary conditions methodology and data reconciliation with plant field-test data and the calibration of models as appropriate
