About the role
Interface with Production Planning (PPC), Engineering, Maintenance, QA, Materials, Styling and SCM for production planning, process improvements, new model trials, engineering changes, breakdown resolution and quality improvement initiatives
What you'll do
- Ensure achievement of daily/monthly production targets in Paint Shop with adherence to quality, cost and delivery requirements
- Monitor and control Paint Shop processes including pre-treatment, painting, curing and finishing operations
- Ensure smooth operation of paint shop equipment including painting bells, conveyors, ovens and utility systems
- Drive line efficiency, productivity improvement and manpower optimization initiatives
- Monitor critical process parameters and ensure process discipline for consistent paint quality
