About the role
As a Lead Embedded Software Engineer in our SmartServices - Completions, Interventions and Measurements team, you will design, develop, and support the embedded software and configurations that power Baker Hughes’ acoustic telemetry technologies.
What you'll do
- Work with C/C++, embedded peripherals and systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and industrial communication protocols to deliver reliable
- Analyzing existing complex multi-component FW/SW systems to assess the implementation and integration of new features
- Delivering embedded software for microcontrollers including interacting with communication protocols / buses; low level driver development
- Developing algorithm and answer products for sensor solutions
- Developing high-quality and resilient firmware solutions as part of a cross functional team including scientists, and mechanical, electric and system engineers
