As a Marine Superintendent / Senior Marine Superintendent at BSM, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and effective vessel operations. Acting as a key link between ship and shore, you will provide operational and navigational support, manage audits and inspections, and drive continuous improvement to uphold international standards and enhance customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
- Monitor updates and propose improvements in safety, security, and voyage efficiency; implement corrective actions from audits and incidents
- Provide operational and commercial guidance to Masters, including voyage orders, port limitations, navigation risks, and security threats
- Manage relationships with owners and charterers; address operational inquiries and complaints when required
- Monitor navigational and cargo operations to ensure compliance with international regulations and company standards
- Assist with identifying discrepancies in operational standards and advise on navigational and cargo equipment performance
