About the role
As a Technical Superintendent at BSM, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end technical and operational oversight of assigned tanker vessels, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-efficient ship management.
What you'll do
- Deliver contractual ship management services in line with customer agreements, ensuring vessels meet required technical and operational standards
- Act as the primary technical contact for Masters and Chief Engineers, providing guidance on safety, maintenance, drydock planning, critical equipment
- Maintain close communication with clients on technical, operational, and budgetary matters, building effective working relationships
- Monitor vessel machinery, equipment performance, and maintenance execution to enhance safety, reliability, energy efficiency, and operational performance
- Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance, repair, and drydocking plans, ensuring timely execution within approved budgets
