About the role
Functions as a senior engineering technician, technical design specialist and/or supervisor. Applies advanced technical expertise to address complex design challenges, typically within a specific engineering discipline, and contributes to the development of innovative engineering solutions.
What you'll do
- Provide supervisory/lead responsibility over a group of project controls personnel or function as a technical specialist developing advanced concepts
- Offer technical direction to the team and may be responsible for employee performance appraisals
- Coordinate design activities with other departments to ensure seamless integration
- Attend client and chief engineering meetings to represent the team and provide technical inputs
- Provide technical guidance and task assignments to less experienced planning/scheduling and cost engineering personnel
