About the role
This role emphasizes end-to-end SCADA engineering for BESS facilities, including integration with Energy Management Systems (EMS), Battery Management Systems (BMS), Power Conversion Systems (PCS), and utility communication systems. The candidate will support conceptual and detailed engineering activities including controls architecture, network design, communications, telemetry, data mapping, and system integration across the full project lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Develop engineering design documents and deliverables for SCADA systems supporting BESS projects
- Design and coordinate SCADA system architecture integrating BMS, EMS, PCS, and PPC systems
- Develop control narratives, data mapping, alarms, and monitoring strategies
- Lead and participate in design reviews (30%, 60%, 90%, IFC)
- Coordinate SCADA scope with utility interconnection and grid compliance requirements
