About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient professional to join our team as a Purchase & Product Specialist for IoT Hardware and Software. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring IoT hardware components, systems, and associated software and licenses.
What you'll do
- Source, evaluate, and procure IoT hardware components such as cameras, RFID readers and antennas, LiDAR, radar systems, telematics devices
- Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of products and prepare Decision Analysis and Resolution (DAR) to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards
- Conduct thorough assessments & curation of software & IoT products
- Identify, assess, and onboard suppliers in line with global standards, ensuring capability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Work closely with engineering, product, and project teams to understand technical needs and translate them into procurement strategies
