About the role
As part of a dedicated software engineering team, you will architect and implement high-performance Java-based microservices that power mission-critical customer experiences. This role offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems handling millions of transactions daily.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot to support high-traffic e-commerce platforms
- Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end features with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Implement database schemas and optimize queries for SQL and NoSQL data stores to ensure low-latency data access
- Participate in architectural discussions and drive best practices for microservices, containerization, and cloud deployments on AWS
- Develop automated tests and integrate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to streamline build, test, and deployment processes
