About the role
The engineer will work in accordance with DMRB GG 119 and applicable highway-authority requirements, while considering the needs of all road users, particularly pedestrians, cyclists and other vulnerable users. Relevant experience in highways, transport planning, road safety or traffic engineering. Previous experience supporting or undertaking Road Safety Audits is desirable.
What you'll do
- Responsible for supporting and undertaking independent Road Safety Audits, road safety assessments and collision analysis for highway and transport schemes
- Research and review design options for both technical and economic impact
- Support Project Managers for on time completion of tasks assigned and to WSP’s expected standards
- Take ownership of tasks assigned and search for solutions where required
- Support seniors in maintaining healthy contact with different UK offices for modelling and design rask
