About the role
The Release Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing product releases and deployments across customer and internal environments. This role ensures that builds are packaged, validated, and deployed in a repeatable, controlled, and auditable way, minimizing risk to production while enabling frequent, high‑quality releases for Majesco products.
What you'll do
- Release Planning & Coordination
- Own the end‑to‑end release calendar for assigned products/environments, including planning, cut‑off dates, and deployment windows
- Coordinate with Engineering, QA, Product, and Support to confirm scope, dependencies, and readiness for each release
- Conduct release readiness reviews (scope, risks, rollback, approvals) before deployment
- Maintain clear release notes, deployment plans, and checklists for all releases
