About the role

The candidate will provide operational and legal support to the UK legal division of a global engineering professional services company, assisting in the management of a team focused on reviewing and negotiating construction industry contracts. Leading and mentoring of legal professionals based in India, providing guidance, support and training.

What you'll do

• Leading and mentoring of legal professionals based in India, providing guidance, support and training. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration
• Oversee the workload of the legal team, ensuring tasks are allocated effectively, deadlines are met, and priorities are aligned with business objectives
• Act as a key point of contact and interface between the legal team in India and stakeholders in the UK region. Facilitate communication, collaboration
• Responsible for performance, development and growth of team members, including goals for team members, PDRs, absence notifications and approvals, quality feedback
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners and clients
