About the role
As a Senior Engineer – Rock Mechanics , you will be part of the Switzerland GCC Tunnel Team in WSP India, based in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a background in Civil Engineering or Geology, with postgraduate qualifications in Geotechnical Engineering or Rock Mechanics. Experience related to embodied carbon reduction in design would be highly regarded.
What you'll do
- Be part of the Switzerland GCC Tunnel Team in WSP India, based in Bengaluru
- Support a diverse portfolio of underground infrastructure, mining, and geo-energy projects in Switzerland and internationally
- Work alongside specialists within WSP’s global ground engineering network, delivering technically challenging projects across multiple sectors
- Contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of geotechnical and rock mechanics services for tunnels, caverns, shafts, underground structures
- Develop geological and geotechnical ground models, including 3D geological and structural models using software such as Leapfrog Geo
