What you'll do
- The Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of wind turbine components and mechanical systems
- This role involves creating robust, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs using NX CAD tools while ensuring compliance with engineering standards
- Design and develop wind turbine components and mechanical systems that meet functional, reliability, safety, manufacturability, serviceability, and cost requirements
- Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using NX
- Develop mechanical concepts and detailed designs for fabricated structures, sheet metal parts, bolted and welded assemblies, and forged/cast components
