About the role
The Vessel Accounting AGM/DGM is responsible for supervising the financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, and cost control of assigned vessels managed by the company. The role ensures accurate vessel financial records, timely reporting to ship owners and stakeholders, compliance with maritime accounting standards, and effective coordination with operations, procurement, crewing, and technical departments.
What you'll do
- Be working with a team of a highly passionate, self-driven and committed group of people
- Responsible for ownership of vessel financials, reporting, budgeting, and stakeholder management
- Ensure timely closing of vessel accounts and reporting as per agreed service level towards vessels owners
- Manage complete accounting functions for assigned vessels/fleet
- Monitor vessel operating expenses (OPEX), capital expenditures (CAPEX), and vessel balance sheet items
