Engineering Manager- Frontend at CheQ Digital. Lead, grow, and retain a team of frontend engineers building CheQ's web experience — from our credit dashboard and onboarding flows to AI-driven personalisation surfaces.
What you'll do
- Own frontend engineering delivery — set clear expectations, unblock teams, manage timelines, and drive accountability without micromanaging
- Partner with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate complex requirements into executable frontend engineering plans
- Drive architecture and design decisions across our React.js ecosystem, design system, performance strategy
- Establish and uphold frontend engineering best practices: component quality, test coverage, CI/CD, accessibility (WCAG), Core Web Vitals, cross-browser compatibility
- Own the frontend security posture — enforce Content Security Policies (CSP), drive security reviews
